Tom Clancy’s Endwar by David Michaels
For everyone in Alberta wanting to read this book because it has well known landmarks blown up and Russia invading us ! don’t expect any great writing.
The books characters are at best shallow and undefined. You can not get involved in their perils; and there is so much techno babble that I skipped through 3/4 of the story line and just looked for anything with Alberta contact. I can read almost anything and get some enjoyment out of it, but this book is an insult to any of Tom Clancy’s earlier publications. If you must read it for all the hype, don’t expect anything great. Quoting a line from “A Night’s Tale” “You have been weighed, measured and found wanting.”
